Terms and Conditons

ALL ACCEPTED BOOKINGS ARE SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

Confirming a reservation with Slixx Trips implies that you accept these conditions.

PAYMENT CONDITIONS

Payments are to be made at the end of the trip (In-Vehicle). Pre-Payment or Invoicing terms and payment methods must be arranged and agreed upon prior to the collection. All payments will receive a GST receipt via email or SMS

  • In-Vehicle Payment Options

    • VISA / MasterCard / AmericanExpress / Apple & Google Pay may incur a 2.13% surcharge

    • Cash, Beem payments are accepted without a fee

  • Pre-Payment or Invoicing

    • Online VISA / MasterCard / AmericanExpress / Apple & Google Pay payments will incur a 2.47% surcharge

    • Bank Transfer & Beem payments are accepted without fee

    • Payment Terms for Invoicing after the collection are due strictly in 7 days (unless a prior agreement has been made

AMENDMENTS

Amendments to this reservation are subject to availability and Slixx Trips reserves the right to apply any additional charges as a result of any changes to this reservation.

  • Client(s) may be charged for waiting time if the start of the transfer is more than 10 minutes past the agreed time stated in the reservation confirmation.

  • Additional stops or en-route detours that were not confirmed when making the reservation will incur additional charges.

CANCELLATIONS

Cancellation of a reservation within 12 hours of the transfer may incur a cancellation fee of $50.00

  • If you can not locate your driver at the scheduled time and pick-up location, please call us IMMEDIATELY on +61 414 766 544. Clients who are unable to locate their chauffeur and choose not to contact us may be charged for the value of the transfer as a cancellation fee.

AIRPORT ARRIVALS

Your driver will meet you at the designated meeting point. If you have agreed upon an In-Airport Collection, please look for you driver holding a sign with your name on it. In-Airport Collections have a minimum $10.00 surcharge and must be arranged prior to the collection. Further charges may apply for long waiting periods.

If you can not locate your driver, or if you are approached by a driver who does NOT have your name listed on a signboard, please call us IMMEDIATELY on +61 414 766 544.

  • At-Airport Collection -- Please see the “Airport & Arrival Info” Menu above for the various pickup locations @ Melbourne Airport

  • Domestic In-Airport Collection -- For T1 Arrivals (Qantas), T3 Arrivals (Virgin Australia) and T4 Arrivals (Jetstar / Tiger / Regional Express), your chauffeur will meet you at the base of the escalators near the luggage carousels in the arrivals hall

  • International In-Airport Collection -- For T2 (International Arrivals), your chauffeur will be waiting at the designated driver meeting point. As you exit out of the Customs area, you will be corralled to the central area. Behind you will be a large “MELBOURNE SIGN” and your driver should be to the LEFT near the Hudson’s cafe, holding a sign with your name on it

ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • Smoking and/or drug use is NOT PERMITTED in any of our vehicles

  • Any financial liability relating to damage of the vehicle caused by client(s) will be assumed by the client(s). This includes any costs relating to cleaning of the vehicle post-transfer, where excessive soiling has occurred. This may also include circumstances where a driver has been directed by the client(s) to drive into an area that has caused avoidable damage to the vehicle (eg. scratches from tree branches or shrubs). Any liability relating to loss of income as a result of damages caused will be assumed by the client(s).

  • Vehicles are not to be loaded beyond seating capacity under any circumstances. This includes excess luggage. If the client(s) has not disclosed the correct amount of luggage as part of the reservation, Slixx Trips has the right to refuse the transfer. The client(s) is then responsible for any additional charge(s) associated with the use of a supplementary vehicle(s) to complete the transfer. Should the client wish to not proceed with the transfer at this point, the value of the transfer will be charged as a cancellation fee.

  • The driver has the right to refuse the transfer, or terminate a transfer-in-progress if:

    • the number of passengers exceeds the legal seating capacity of the vehicle;

    • the client(s) is intoxicated, disorderly or behaving in an aggressive/offensive manner;

    • the client(s) or booking agent has failed to request appropriate child restraints where legally required

    • any other behaviour that may lead to a breach of the road rules

    • any such occurrence will see the client(s) charged the full value of the transfer as a cancellation fee.

  • Slixx Trips is not liable in the event of mechanical breakdown during a transfer and will only be responsible for making up lost time at a mutually agreed date. Slixx Trips is not liable for any damages or loss as a result of any deed, negligence or error of a supplier or other third party. Under circumstances where liability is unable to be excluded, liability is limited to the value of the clients' purchase.
